​Patrick Marcel Patterson, born in Germany to a military family and raised in the heart of Richmond, Virginia, has left an indelible mark on the hearts and lives of all who knew him. He later passed away peacefully in Richmond, the city he proudly called home. His early years, shaped by the resilience and adaptability of military life, laid a strong foundation for the remarkable man he would become.

​A dedicated scholar and leader, Patrick's commitment to excellence was evident early on as he earned degrees from both Virginia State University and Virginia Commonwealth University. His professional life was marked by significant achievements, culminating in his esteemed role as the Chief Financial Officer of an engineering business. In his career, his sharp intellect, strategic vision, and steady guidance set him apart in his industry, earning him the deep respect and admiration of his colleagues.

​In his leisure time, Patrick found joy in the brilliant complexity of chess and held a deep appreciation for nice cars. These passions were more than just pastimes; they were true reflections of who he was—showcasing his meticulous, forward-thinking mind, his patience, and his distinct eye for quality and craftsmanship.
​Patrick was not just loved; he was adored by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His strength, wisdom, and generosity endeared him to family and friends alike. His legacy lives on through his five beloved children—Tiara, Antione, Sydney, Dejon, and Demoray—and his nine cherished grandchildren, who continue to embody his spirit and carry his values forward for generations to come.
